New Release: The Story of Sonny Boy Slim

The Story of Sonny Boy Slim – Released Sept. 11

You can’t downplay Gary Clark Jr.’s talent at this point. He’s shared the stage with everyone (Yonce, Eric Clapton, John Mayer), been influenced by everyone, yet still maintains a low-key persona even too chill for his hometown Austin, Texas. Over the last three years, his sexy blues performances have wafted from ACLFest to movie backdrop (Check out the Chef soundtrack) to President Obama’s own stage. Yet despite the potential for gloss and glamour, you can still taste the grit with every wanton solo. Please Gary Clark Jr.–never never trade in your dusty, sweat stained t-shirt for something cleaner.
